Breaking New Ground Once Again at Blindwells

We are delighted to announce that I&H Brown has been awarded another major earthworks contract at Blindwells, strengthening our long-standing partnership with Hargreaves Services plc and building on a successful relationship that began in 2018.

This latest phase of works will see our team move over 2,000,000 cubic metres of material between plots to prepare the ground for future housing development. A key part of the project will involve high energy impact compaction (HEIC) to ensure that all housing plots achieve the required compaction levels for long-term stability and performance.

Blindwells has been a landmark project for I&H Brown, having delivered 5 phases of earthworks on the site and many more phases of infrastructure. Our experience and track record at the location make us well placed to deliver this next stage to the highest standards of quality and safety.

The scale of the operation requires meticulous planning, efficient sequencing, and close coordination across the team. As many of the homes at Blindwells are now occupied, we are also placing a strong focus on minimising disruption to residents and the local community as we continue our work.

We look forward to successfully delivering this latest phase and continuing to play an important role in the ongoing transformation of Blindwells into a thriving new community.
