Our number one priority on any of our sites is to ensure that everyone gets home safe at the end of the working day. This care extends to our employees, our suppliers, contractors, clients and the communities we are operating in.
We have an embedded health and safety culture which is promoted at all levels of our business. Individuals are encouraged to take responsibility for not only their own actions but to have the confidence to raise issues they see around them.
Our in-house safety team is responsible for meeting and exceeding all regulation requirements across our operations. Effective communication is central to our approach to safety.
Our Occupational Health & Safety Policy, processes and procedures are accredited to ISO 45001:2018 standards. We also hold Constructionline Gold, British Safety Council and CHAS certificates amongst others.
We realise the mental health issues are prevalent in the construction industry. We have Mental Health First Aiders within the business and provide Mental Health Awareness training to all our management staff. A confidential counselling service is available to all staff.
