All our current staff were invited including their families, and some retirees were in attendance. There was 4 generations of the Brown family also at the event! There were over 300 friends of the company there on the day.

It was a fun-packed day with great food, bouncy castles, an egg and spoon race, tug of war, and speeches by Duncan and Scott Brown among other entertainment. There was I & H Brown construction and farming machinery, both old and new, on display which were a firm favourite on the day! It was amazing to see some the old machinery side by side with their modern counterparts. A highlight was seeing the old I & H Brown 1970s Mini Van parked beside a modern electric van.

The kids in attendance adored the machinery on display. There was not a moment when the large bits of plant did not have smiling child sitting in the cab! Fair to say, we may have inspired some of the next generation to join the construction industry.

It was a day dedicated to celebrating the company, its staff, and all we have achieved as a team over the past 60 years. Having a day of glorious sunshine made the occasion all the more special.
