Frameworks Success

Our Civil Engineering Division are pleased to announce a spate of Framework wins during the month of April. I & H Brown have secured places on 3 varied frameworks; each involving a minimum term of 5 years.

I & H Brown have recently been re-appointed by INEOS to provide civil engineering support services to assist them in their management of the Forties Pipeline (North) and associated assets. Our award for this framework which will be for a minimum of 5 years is particularly pleasing, given that we have been delivering the civil support works to the 230km northern section of the Forties Pipeline infrastructure for the past 18 years. Our extremely robust SHEQ(Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality) management system and willingness to work with clients in order to jointly mitigate potential risks, makes us well suited to working within the oil and gas sector.

Remaining in the energy sector, we have recently been awarded a place on the Civils Framework for energy giant and Perth neighbour, SSE. It is expected that this framework will be used to let a wide range of civils packages to support SSE/SHET on the delivery of their RIIO T2 commitments. Works will range from enabling works packages and temporary works, up to major earthworks and civils packages for new and upgraded substations.

Finally, we are also delighted to have gained a place on the Industrial Buildings Framework for ABP (Associated British Ports) in 2 of the 5 Regions. We are one of five contractors in the Northwest of England (Sub Lot C) and one of four in Scotland (Sub Lot D). The framework period is for an initial 5 years with an option for a 1 + 1 extension. The type of works will incorporate quayside works including quay wall, new and upgrading of the port’s infrastructure and new warehousing and office buildings.

The diversity of these framework appointments showcases the breadth of our skillset as a business. We look forward to working which each of these clients over the next 5 years.
